Online Purchase Terms and Conditions
This section sets forth the Terms and Conditions of sale for ethanallen.com, ( “Web Site”). We are a part of Ethan Allen Global, Inc. and its subsidiary Ethan Allen Retail, Inc., ("Ethan Allen”). Ethan Allen has a national network of company-operated and independently operated Design Centers ("Ethan Allen Design Centers”) that sell and deliver Ethan Allen products. By completing a purchase with us you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them.
Ethan Allen Design Centers carry many of the products displayed on our Web Site. In some cases, merchandise displayed for sale on our Web Site may not be available at select Ethan Allen Design Centers, may occasionally be out of stock or may be discontinued without notice. Some items shown on our Web Site are only available in Ethan Allen Design Centers.
All prices and services featured on our Web Site are quoted in U.S. dollars, are valid and effective only in the continental U.S, and are optional with each independently operated Ethan Allen Design Center.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices, item numbers, availability, and dimensions; however, we cannot be responsible for typographical errors. Ethan Allen reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Ethan Allen will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
We are proud of our products and have referenced wood and manufacturing techniques in general terms throughout the Web Site. Wood/veneer species, product composition, and manufacturing techniques vary by product and may change over time without notice. Final products may vary in color, finish, size, fabric, or other features. Electronic equipment is not included.
“Starting Fabric” upholstery prices reflect the price of the item in starting fabric grade without any options. Items are not necessarily shown in starting grade fabric.
The total order amount, including tax and delivery charges, will be charged to your credit card or gift card in full at the time the order is placed.
Clearance items cannot be cancelled. Clearance items are final sale and may not be returned. Quantities are limited, and items are subject to prior sale. No price adjustments on prior sales.
We cannot accept order cancellations on any custom-made product after 72 hours of order placement.
For all other items, we will accept a cancellation for full refund if the item has not shipped. If the item has been shipped, the return policy and procedures outlined below must be followed. To cancel an order placed on ethanallen.com, please contact our Internet Service Center at 1.888.EAhelp1 (1.888.324.3571). If the item has not shipped, we will credit the full amount paid back to the original credit card or gift card.
At Ethan Allen, quality has always been a priority. Contact the Ethan Allen Design Center that delivered your product or call our Internet Service Center at 1.888.EAhelp1 (1.888.324.3571) if your Ethan Allen product is received damaged or develops a manufacturing defect that is covered by the Ethan Allen Limited Warranty. We have a network of service professionals who are ready to assist you.
We make every effort to deliver products that meet or exceed your expectations. In the event that our products do not meet your expectations, the following return policies and procedures apply.
Note that we do not accept any returns on mattresses or box springs, any custom-made product, books, or custom table pads.
Return Procedure: Items shipped via parcel post
You must return the product along with the completed Return Authorization Form via an insured parcel post carrier within ten (10) days of receiving the product. Repack the item securely in its original carton. Use the Return Shipping Label attached to the Return Authorization Form that you received with your shipment. If you are missing your Return Authorization form, you may call our Internet Service Center at 1.888.EAHELP1 (1.888.324.3571). Keep the upper part of the Return Authorization Form for your records.
We regret that we cannot accept returns that do not include a completed Return Authorization Form or items returned after ten (10) days of receipt. We do not accept any returns on books, custom table pads or custom artwork. Shipping charges are not refundable, and you are responsible for the return shipping charges. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, your warranty service will be provided at no charge.
Your product will be inspected upon return. A return handling charge of 10% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount. A credit will be issued to the original credit card or gift card used for the purchase within fifteen (15) days from when the item has been received at our Returns Distribution Center. Refunds generally appear on your credit card statement in one to two billing periods.
Return Procedure: Premier Home Delivery items
Within three (3) days of receiving the product, contact our Internet Service Center at 1.888.EAHELP1 (1.888.324.3571) to facilitate your return. If authorized, a pick up will be scheduled.
We regret that we cannot accept returns that are not authorized by our Internet Service Center within three (3) days of your receipt of the product. We do not accept any returns on mattresses and box springs, custom-finished wood furniture, upholstery, or custom artwork. Premier Home Delivery shipping charges are not refundable and you are responsible for the return shipping (pick up) charges. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, warranty service will be provided at no charge.
Your refund will be reduced by a return handling charge equal to 15% of the purchase price and a Premier Home Delivery pick up charge equal to the original Premier Home Delivery charge. A credit will be issued to the original credit card or gift card used for the purchase within fifteen (15) days of return of the product. Refunds generally appear on your credit card statement in one to two billing periods.
The estimated delivery date is an estimate of the approximate date the product is expected to arrive at the Ethan Allen service location and is subject to change. We will endeavor to keep you informed on the progress of your order. We ship parcel-post items by UPS ground, FedEx ground or a similar shipper. In-stock Express items ship to arrive within seven (7 ) business days of receipt of your order. Some items require additional handling time, which is noted on the product detail page. Rush shipping is not available.
In-home delivery items are unpacked, inspected, and prepared prior to delivery and will be set up in your home. We regret that we cannot install electronic equipment in our furniture. Delivery time may be increased for remote locations more than seventy-five (75) miles from one of our Design Centers.
You will be called to schedule an in-home delivery and will be provided a two- or three-hour (2- or 3-hour) time window for your delivery. Delivery is subject to reasonable and safe access. Hoisting and any other extraordinary measures necessary to accomplish delivery are at your risk and any additional cost must be paid by you at or before the time of delivery. Premier Home Delivery may not be available in your area or may require additional fees such as for extended distance from a home delivery point, special tolls or ferry service fees.
A minimum re-delivery fee of $100.00 will be charged to the original credit card or gift card used if you are not at home or you are unable to or do not accept a scheduled delivery and a second Premier Home Delivery trip is required.
A storage fee of 2% per month of the total order amount will be charged to the original credit card or gift card used for the purchase if delivery is not accepted within thirty (30) days after notice of availability of merchandise for delivery. If you fail to accept delivery for ninety (90) days after notice of availability of merchandise for delivery, at our sole option and at anytime thereafter, we will cancel your order and refund your payment less any unpaid storage fees and a 15% service and handling fee.
ethanallen.com may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice. For this reason, you should review these Terms and Conditions each time you purchase products from us. Any action relating to the use of ethanallen.com must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Connecticut, Fairfield County.
