Matthew VanGundy

With nearly twenty years of interior design experience, and over a decade of design in the Kansas City area, Matthew has a unique perspective on creating spaces. He earned his degree in film and television production in Toronto and furthered his education in art direction and interior design stateside. 

Matthew's favorite part of design isn't necessarily the big reveal. "Often times," he says, "it's the little things—nuances or family treasures—that help connect all parts of the room to the people who enjoy it. They help make the space more personal and special, giving it a luxury uniquely its own." His enthusiasm for design keeps him busy professionally and personally; as his current passion project, he has taken on a Kansas City historical gem and is meticulously crafting it back to its former glory.
