Jennifer Mattis

Creating beautiful environments has been a lifelong love for Jennifer. She grew up in Atlanta where, on the weekends, she and her mother would walk through homes under construction, and together they would "decorate" them (because her mother was trained in interior design, Jennifer likes to say that she's been a designer in training since age ten!). She went on to study stage design in college, where she created elaborate floor plans for theater presentations.

In 2008, her love for interior design translated perfectly into a career in the wedding and event industry when she launched a business, The Three Divas Events, along with her mother and sister. Together, they transformed empty venues into stunning environments, creating the perfect setting for each client's wedding or special event. As an Ethan Allen designer, she uses her skills to help clients create the home environment of their dreams. Since joining Ethan Allen, Jennifer has been awarded the company’s Design Portfolio Excellence and Platinum Spirit Awards.

Jennifer's other interests include working in the film industry. She once worked as a body double/stand-in for Michelle Dockery, who played Lady Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey, while Dockery was filming in Wilmington. Her first love, however, is being a mom and creating a home environment for her two children.
