Dawn Porter

Dawn graduated from Miami University with a degree in interior design and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She brings almost three decades of experience to the Ethan Allen Alpharetta design team, which includes creating fabulous, innovative spaces in a range of styles for residential, model home, and commercial design projects in the Atlanta metro area and beyond. She has won multiple awards for her model home and merchandising designs, including the 2008 Frederick County, Maryland, Best Model award, plus multiple Ethan Allen Gold and Diamond Spirit Awards.

Dawn has a great eye for design, whether she's designing a complete room makeover or adding a few touches to update a space. She believes a great room begins with proper scale and proportion. Then, once a beautiful palette and style direction are defined, statement draperies and accessories truly finish the space. Nothing pleases her more than when a client is wowed by their room.
