Elizabeth Sansom

Elizabeth has been working in the design industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Ethan Allen in 2009, she earned a BFA in Interior Architecture from California State University in Long Beach and an associate degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a dual major in Visual Communications and Interior Design. During her visual merchandising studies, she decided to practice her design skills on a larger scale so she could express her vision in a bigger picture medium. Thus began her continuing love and passion for interior design.

Trained in both residential and commercial design, she loves bringing interiors to life by utilizing their architectural elements and applying the design principles required to achieve the best solutions, all while staying true to her client’s lifestyle needs. Elizabeth is highly proficient with space planning and 3D drawing, along with being skilled in working with textiles, palettes, and window treatments. She derives the greatest satisfaction from designing spaces that both do what they are supposed to do and meet her clients’ every expectation while also communicating who her clients truly are.
