Mindy Matuszak

Mindy has a storied background in interior design, spanning over 30 years. After earning her bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Kansas, she embarked on a career in corporate interior design.

She worked for companies including Microsoft and Yale New Haven Cancer Center, then started her own interior design business. While remodeling homes for her corporate clients, she became interested in residential interior design and began working for a custom homebuilder in Chicago. Finally, in 2010, she started working in the custom furnishings industry and has been in this field ever since.

She enjoys getting to know each client’s needs and desires for their space, then finding creative ideas the client may have not thought of before. She likes many different design styles and can seamlessly combine them while providing a design solution that exceeds each client’s expectations.

Mindy is an avid world traveler and feels that her travels, both domestically and abroad, give her a more diverse cultural experience to draw from. When she is not designing for her clients, Mindy enjoys cooking, gardening, and exploring antique stores.
