Marilou Huxman

Marilou owned a home furnishings and remodeling design firm for 25 years in San Diego, California, before moving to Raleigh. She worked with clients on projects including new home construction, major remodeling, and décor refreshes. Clients are delighted by her ability to draw out their inner designer to find the individual style that transforms their house into a home!

Marilou’s superpowers are in space planning, capturing the client’s vision, and conceptualizing out-of-the-box ideas to produce a “wow” factor in her designs. More than anything, she believes, “If we’re not having fun, we’re doing something wrong!”
