John Roberts

Since starting as a designer at Ethan Allen in 1994, John has shared his expertise with hundreds of satisfied clients. His design background includes many years of custom drapery design and custom bed coverings. 

His design service starts with a complimentary visit to the home, where he learns about the client's lifestyle and gets to know how the space will be used. Next, he delivers a design presentation, back at the Design Center, that reveals furniture layouts, floor plans, and recommended colors and fabrics. Before leaving his presentations, clients actually sit in and touch the furniture they'll be using. His design projects range from recommending a single piece to designing an entire house; many clients return time and time again to refresh or add onto existing work.
