About

Caroline has been passionate about interior design since she was a child who often rearranged furniture with abandon. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in business management and marketing, she worked as a buyer and product designer for Kaufmann’s, a division of May Company Department Stores. She later earned an MBA in Organization Design, which led to a career as Vice President of Operations for an industry-leading software company, where she oversaw several workplace redesigns that optimized productivity, employee comfort, and visual aesthetics.

She is adept at working with first-time homeowners, empty nesters who are downsizing, and everyone in between. She has several years of residential renovation experience, including historic home restoration, new construction design, project management, and landscape and hardscape design, in addition to her years of interior design experience as a private consultant.

Caroline thrives on creating unique spaces that reflect each client’s own design aesthetics and support their lives. She loves to start with personal treasures and objects of special meaning that clients would like to include in their space, then pair those keepsakes with a key design element that will tie everything together. Her straightforward design process, along with her ability to quickly visualize each client’s needs and desires, makes creating a dream space feel easy, while her enthusiasm and positive energy make the process, from design to fruition, a true pleasure.
