Kris Armen

Kris has been working in the interior design field since she graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in Interior Design. She began designing homes in Reno in 2003, and has been with Ethan Allen in Austin since 2015. She has worked on upscale urban high rises, funky downtown lofts, family-focused suburban homes, rustic mountain retreats, and everything in between. Her designs can be found throughout northern Nevada, California, Georgia, and Florida; in Houston, Austin, and the surrounding Central Texas areas; and as far away as South Korea, China, and Mexico.

Based on a philosophy of balance, Kris seeks a harmonious marriage of function and beauty in her designs. Her goal is to make her clients’ design dreams a reality, whether finding the most comfortable sofa or furnishing a dream home or two. Her forte is choosing custom window coverings and bedding; these touches give each home an individualized look and feel that reflects the clients’ style and preferences. Fluent in English and Korean, Kris is learning Spanish and French for fun, loves to cook, and is a bit of workaholic.
