David Brewster

David briefly attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia but quickly learned that his natural gifts were better honed on the job rather than in the classroom. After he became skilled in the art of design, his need for knowledge took him beyond the fabrics toward a better understanding of the business. For more than 20 years now, he has thrived in the furniture industry, working for multiple luxury brands. Ethan Allen was the beginning of his design career and has always felt like home. 

Over the years, David learned that a leader working side by side with their team provides the best support, empowering designers to achieve both their and their clients’ goals. He sets high expectations for his entire staff, ensuring every client is treated with respect and striving to ensure that clients walk away with a sense of achievement and appreciation for an exceptional experience.
