Infused with the soft, watery hues of a misty morning, these giclées on paper may reference icy glaciers, but they evoke unexpected warmth. The artist, Maeve Harris, started out as a photographer. Influenced by natural and organic forms, she moved on to painting and printmaking and now renders exquisite expressions of color and light such as these. In keeping with their calm restraint, the prints in this series are mounted on white mats with hand painted bevels in charcoal gray in simple, flat-faced black frames. Each print is alluring on its own; together they make a dramatic display.
